Closing ceremony

A programme event where the Chair officially sums up the con, thanks everybody there is to thank, awards various prizes (eg. to the Masquerade, Beyond Cyberdrome, Doc Weir award, and Phlosque award winners), announces next year's Beyond Cyberdrome theme, asks people to stick around to help with move-out, and declares the con officially over. This typically happens on the Monday afternoon. There is usually nothing programmed to happen after the official closing, and the only things left are move-out and the dead dog party, so many fans leave straight after the closing.
