Con hotel

The official hotel chosen to host a con. As well as providing accommodation, it also provides function space, social space, and food and drink. The committee will have a hotel contract that specifies what the hotel will provide and what the con's responsibilities are to the hotel (eg. filling a certain number of bedrooms). It is the job of the hotel liaison to perform all official negotiations with the con hotel both pre-con and at-con. See also overflow hotel and split site.
