Newsletter
From Conbledegook
A publication produced at a con, typically once or twice per full day, each one being a double-sided A4 sheet. The newsletter will usually contain event write-ups, announcements, reviews of local restaurants, photos, competition results, cartoons, jokes, puzzles, and con-related gossip. Most of the articles are contributed by ordinary members and submitted to the newsletter office for them to edit, rather than the newsletter staff acting as roving reporters. A different colour of paper may be used for each issue to make it easy to tell at a glance whether you already have the latest issue.
Here are some archives of newsletters from past Eastercons:
- Heliograph {Helicon, Jersey, 1993).
- The Adelphi Coracle (Sou'Wester, Liverpool, 1994).
- Tweeting Birds (Concussion, Glasgow, 2006).
